Episode 2: What Do You Think About the Christ? | Colossians 1:19 — Coach C’s Neighborhood

It’s a beautiful day to be a neighbor.

Today’s Family Wins devotional reflects on Colossians 1:19 — “For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him.”

Say the name of Jesus and a dozen images come to mind: a babe in a manger, a rugged carpenter, a crucified Savior. But Paul reaches past all of it to something bigger — the eternal Christ, the image of God Himself, in whom the fullness of God was pleased to dwell. John Calvin put it plainly: apart from Christ, we are shut out from God; in Him, we’re joined. Which brings us to the one question every thinking person eventually has to answer: what do you think about the Christ?

A godly husband isn’t made in a day. Neither is a godly wife, a godly father, or a godly mother. They’re made in moments like this — one verse, one choice, one day at a time.
