No matter where you fall on the political spectrum, there are universal truths we can not avoid. One such truth is that there are only two genders, male and female. This truth is relevant in every area of life, including corporate America, education, sports, family, and communities, among others. Thank you to the DailyWire, Jordan Peterson, and Michael Shellenberger for publishing this clip for the general public to consume, not just paid subscribers to the DailyWire+. Due to its pressing relevance, I am very grateful you released it for everyone to watch. I wanted to share the clip on my blog and write about its key point of how the original sin of men and women is outlined in the biblical account of Adam and Eve. It explains the discord we are experiencing with the topic of “gender fluidity” today. Strong gentlemen are needed more than ever.
We want men to orient to being gentlemen, virtuous citizens, and servant leaders, not towards the nialistic, misogynistic, and toxic men of the Andrew Tate type. Strong gentlemen also serve as an antacid against toxic feminity and the weakening of men in society. Civilization depends on strong men and women as designed by our Creator, male and female.

In the Adam and Eve story, Dr. Peterson explains the narrative better than anyone I’ve heard attempt to explain it. It was an AHA moment for me.
Dr. Peterson: “So you know, in the story of Genesis each sex has its original sin and it establishes the pattern of weakness that is the primary temptation for women and for men. The primary temptation of women is to clutch the serpent to their breast in the presumption that their all consuming compassion can envelop the world. So it’s pride. It’s the union of pride and compassion. But, the sin of men, the sin of Adam, is to accede to the demands of his wife when she goes too far. He’s weak, and you see that in two ways. The the first way is that he accepts the apple from Eve even though he’s cognizant of its toxic origin, and he does that in part because he’s prideful enough to assume that his machinations can deal with her overreach. Then the second indication of his weakness is that when God asks him how he discovered that he was naked … he’s become self-conscious and he’s conscious of his own vulnerability … he immediately blames the woman and God.
So the historical weakness of women is to take pride in their compassion and to elevate that to the highest place. That’s the usurpation of God to make compassion itself the essence of morality and that’s to eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Then the sin of Adam is to be weak … to cowtow … when called upon by his partner.”
Michael Shellenberger: “It’s amazing, Jordan. I have to say I never properly understood the Adam and Eve story until you tell it that way.”
I feel the same way, Michael. I have no doubt the Holy Spirit was present during this conversation. The Spirit was speaking truth through Dr. Peterson. “If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.” (Mark 4:23)
If any strong gentlemen have ears, let them hear … and act … and lead. “Pay attention to what you hear: with the measure you use it, it will be measured to you, and still more will be added to you. For the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.” (Mark 4:24-25)
