Mind-Heart Balance

To drive positive mind change, you need to understand where you are today. You need to take an inventory of your current character qualities, relationships, emotional states, habits and principles. This exercise will reveal with whom and where you spend your time. It will reveal both the good and bad. It will help you take a stand for the future you want to have.

This form will establish the baseline of your mind-heart balance. It will be a useful tool in your mindwork and serve as a reference for your progress.

Before starting the form, calm your mind by doing the following:

  • Get comfortable
  • Close your eyes
  • Take deep, controlled breaths
  • Imagine sitting at the bottom of a pond looking up at the surface
  • Visualize the calm, still water
  • As thoughts enter your mind, release them and let them float to the surface
  • Do this for 2-4 minutes, or until you feel peaceful
